Our Major Milestone

2002

The very first POWERTECHNIC stationed at Jalan Pinang, Taman Daya, Johor Bahru. POWERTECHNIC had a major breakthrough was awarded by NCI Industries to execute a project that was considered the biggest at the time. This allow us to embark on even bigger project.

2005

Having a self-owned terrace factory means we are established and committed to grow stronger and bigger.

2006

Fully established the core departments and clear designation of job duties. Firmly indicating the backbone for smooth operation or POWERTECHNIC.

2007

After numerous brainstorming session on company mission statement, the Theme emerged to enhance the synergy of the company.

2008

At Jalan Mutiara Emas 7/11, Taman Mount Austin, Johor Bahru. Increased sales, personnel and expansion necessitate us to acquire a larger factory.

KUALA LUMPUR POWERTECHNIC
POWERTECHNIC (KL) SDN BHD WAS SET UP IN KUALA LUMPUR, TO SERVE THE GROWING NUMBER OF CUSTOMERS.

2009

After years of training and development, the 12 service teams was being formed to fulfil on the market needs.

2010

For the ease of coordination for the Singapore and Indonesia based companies, POWERTECHNIC SINGAPORE was formed to execute the general management.

2012

We had strategically located ourselves at Indahpura, Kulai to serve our customer within this region more efficiently. We had officially moved into this headquarters in 2016 and operated ever since.

2013

An “Operational Technology Transfer” program was successfully organised in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. A team of technical representatives from our Group of Companies had been trained and upgraded in terms of technical knowledge, operational skill and safety practice for hoist and crane.

2014

After years of remarkable and excellent service, SME Award 2014 on Service Excellence was being awarded to POWERTECHNIC Team.

Implement and incorporate the Toyota-System and Lean Concept. A restructuring was done and training provided to employees for optimal efficiency. We name it PKS (POWERTECHNIC KAIZEN SYSTEM).

2015

IMPACTFUL TEAM AWARD

More recognition by MMIA and Sin Chew Business Award were awarded for our achievements.

2016

CEO of POWERTECHNIC, Mr. Choo Chee Yong was recognised and awarded with TOP-30 Creative Young Entrepreneur Award (CYEA) by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Malaysia.

Tunku Abdul Rahman University college (TARUC) 50th Anniversary Outstanding Alumni Awards was proudly presented to POWERTECHNIC Founder, Mr Ivan Na & Mr Choo Chee Yong.
